This classic Tadd Dameron piece, which I arranged, features the lead alto sax player. It’s a great ballad with double-time feel sections. The highest note the lead trumpet player plays is a concert C, just above the staff. Additionally, it was the winning arrangement for the 2025 Student Down Beat Awards in the graduate category.
